Could be because my toaster oven runs hot.....about 25 degrees hot. Since I'm doing a tear away demo for the Guild tomorrow I thought I should check it out. I bought an oven thermometer and tested out the little oven. When it was suppose to 265 degrees it was actually around 290 degrees. No wonder some of the tear aways were smoking and turning brown.
Problem Solved.
