More Texture Sheets

Here are some of the texture sheets I made. The scripts came from photos of ancient text I took in the Louvre. I think it is South Arabian (modern day Yemen) and dates back to 500 BC.

And a picture of my little wooly bear...Sophia

Those texture sheets are awesome! Can't wait to see the pieces you make with them.
And of course, your little wooly bear is adorable (they always are when they're sleeping, right?).

I agree those sheets are awesome! I just found a rubber stamp with these tiny hieroglyphics, can't wait to try them.

Hi Gail--great sheets--are they etched? Also I'm wondering your favorite polymer clay combination for tear away--I have a formula from Celie from a few years ago, 3 colors. Thanks for posting--love your work!

Hi Candice, I'm using 4 colors. 25% white, 25% metallic or pearl, and two other colors. Since the Sculpey has grid lines on it...I just snap off a bar of each. I use the same clay during my batch. I just ball it up once I tear off the sheet. If there is some ink left on the polymer I use a razor and cut that out first before I reuse it.

Thanks! I got this formula from Celie a while ago: Fimo 052 metallic white, 39 peppermint, and 11 metallic gold. 1/3 each. I couldn't find the peppermint, and used another color. I think fresh clay helps. I bought some months ago & it's hard to condition. Good to hear you reuse the same clay, I have piles here I hope I can reuse. Appreciate your help! Candice
