I'm torn about doing shows in 2010. I relish the thought of a year of nothing but designing for me...but I have a concern that if I don't do shows this year, I won't be able to get into them next year. I think I will apply for a few and make the decision later. I got a promotion at work so there is an expectation that I will increase the level of effort I give there. It's always a balancing act. Where is a rich man when I need him....I just had to marry for love.....silly, silly girl (just kidding honey).

I've worked for show management before and just because someone decided not to do our show the year before didn't make us bar them from the show. We were always happy to have them back. Now this is one show, but I would think most shows would be more than pleased to have your goregous jewelry on site. Don't worry and do what feels right for you.
I'm having the same debate about shows this year. Last year was pretty slow for me. I was just thinking of hitting a few because of that this year, and put out some newer designs, maybe hit the boutiques + galleries.

I agree with Valerie - do what feels right. You can always tell the show promoters that you are working on new designs and a new line so when you return in 2011 you will dazzle them all!
