Studio Weekend

This weekend was the best kind of weekend.....no plans except to spend time in the studio.  I put some necklaces together.  Carved some bronze connectors that are now in the kiln and worked through another 200 grams of bronze with some new tear-aways.

The November show will be here soon so I wll be spending a lot of time in the studio between now and then.

Very cool! I really like the laced one. Good luck at your show! I bet you do great. How could someone resist?

Great pieces, Gail! And nice tear away textures.

I went to HobbyLobby looking for Sculpey Studio to make tear-aways and they didn't stock it, so I dug through my clay drawer at home and found some old Premo that I had purchased on closeout two years ago. The label states that it contains Phthalic esters, so I'm going to give it a try, and hope I can get some decent tear away textures with it.
